Did anyone else hear that guy in the crowd yell, "Big Blue" when Jeff stepped onto the approach in the first game...then he said it ??
Funny stuff.........

yah i did
that reaction was crap. should have put it away or tried another with a different drilling. The way that thing rolled-it wont sell any balls
Sometimes its almost better not being seen on TV

Dont swing it-if you cant bring it
When in doubt-swing it out

Had a urethane look to it, didn't it ?? I agree w/ you.....you think being so close to the Dorin girls, he'd had 2 or 3 BB's drilled like is sister-in-law does

I heard people say that he was using a power diesel in qualifying, why not try that ball a shot ot two. It just seemed like he had very little room fro error with the BB.
I also am still planning on getting a big blue. It still looks like a nice ball.

The ESPN cameradogs being what they are, it was a safe bet that Cathy would get almost as much air time as Jeff.
Jeff's reaction with Big Blue looked good to me at the start of his match with Delutz, but it quickly became too much ball, IMHO. I think he may have gotten a little emotionally attached to it, the way Randy was with the X-Factor that got him to the show last year.
BTW guys, this is gonna be one expensive ball. bowling.com has them retailing at $239.95, and is pre-selling them for $159.99.
So... I'll ask you guys the same question everyone asks buzzheads. Why would I pay $159.99 for a Big Blue, when I can get a Warp Zone for $122.99?

Jeff had at least three balls on the rack all Big Blues with different surface and drills. His performance was I believe more to do with the change in form he had to use to carry. He does not usually spin the ball as much as that. I agree the ball choices might not have great but we are only arm chair quaterbacks and not doing the bowling.

That's a $20 off special, but still, a big price difference from what bowling.com is charging. I don't think they'll sell very many at $160.
Long live Buddies!
