Title: Maybe a sawblade?
Post by: ImaRedbird on December 13, 2005, 02:26:36 AM
My buddy wants a new ball for christmas. He's maybe a stroker, medium speed, he doesn't put his all his fingers in the ball but he's gonna try to use all his fingers.

He currently has a switchblade, which is starting to look bogus. He wants the sawblade because of the color and i suggested it to him, because it's stronger than the switchblade, and he didn't want the razorblade because of the color.(kind of a goofy reason but that's what he wants.)

Is that a good ball. Does anyone have any experiences with it.Any suggestions?

I haven't rolled a Saw Blade, but it's the same weight block with a much stronger cover. It should be a good fit.

as for the saw blade...good ball. Read my review of it. Any questions regarding this excelent ball just let me know. And FYI, it dosnt matter if he wants a Saw or a Razor. Same ball only the Saw is polished

I have a friend that has a Sharp Blade...same core as the Swithch Blade.

His is a really powerfully hooking big backending particle...in the class of my Icon 2.

The switch blade is the same core.  The sawblade takes a higher diff version of the same core(more flare) and adds some particle.  I have seen it and it is a big board covering monster for medium heavy oil.

Smooth big hitting and big board coverage.  Not a control ball but a good ball!
