Black Widow + Big Deal

I looked at both of these balls and I really want to know the big difference, since they have the same core and RG/Diff.  Does the Coverstock really make a huge difference in these two?

The coverstock on bowling balls is the single most important part of the balls reaction.  If you look at the PAIN and DOOM you will see both have the same core specs but different covers.  The PAINS cover is much stronger than the DOOMS.  Even if you were to dull a DOOM it's not going to be as strong as a dull PAIN.

I'm not sure about the BIG DEAL because i've never seen it thrown but if it has the same core as the BW and a different cover it's safe to say that there different.

I've never thrown the BW, but I had a Big Deal that I used for over a year and it was one of my favorites, the most versatile, predictable bowling ball I've ever thrown.  The coverstock is very, very durable and configurable.

That BW should be more angular than the Big Deal, which is what everyone seems to be looking for, but in my experience, the Big Deal was very predictable to the breakpoint and kept plenty of energy at the pins, which should count for something.

Either way I don't think you can go wrong, although the Ebonite Total NV seems to be hot new ball comparable to the BW, but maybe a little more advanced.

Big Deal is Particle Solid, while Black Widow is Reactice Solid. You can definitly tell the difference in their reactions and how agressive they are. i have to have my big deal polished to have it be close in reaction to the widow, but it still is alot more agressive.
