On teh hammer site theres a place to register a new hammer product. What is the point of this...is there a reason that i should register my balls?

Maybe it's like sending in the warranty card on something new. If there proves to be a defect it might be easier to deal with?

I used that and the Ebonite site for the XXcel, never got any junk mail what so ever.
If for some reason, you need to replace the ball, it replaces the warranty card, faster, easier, if you don't want to register, then don't.
