Drill Layout for BWP
« on: September 21, 2007, 09:11:40 AM »
I am a stroker with a ball speed of 11-13mph with low-med rev rate.  I'm planning on getting a Black Widow Pearl with a 2-4" Pin and 1-3 oz top weight.  I don't know what my PAP is.  Which drill layout would suit me with the BWP?  Would the drill layout #1 skid/flip layout work for me?

Any help and advice would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks.

The skid/flip is a great drill for this ball, without knowing a LOT more info it's hard to give you any good advise. Look at the #2 drill, placing the pin 4 3/4 from your PAP, pin under or just under and right of RF. I've done several of these and they seem to work well for those with a bit slower ball speeds.

One thing I will say, if your driller does not know your PAP or does not find it before drilling, only luck be with you if the ball turns out well. A PAP is very important info when drilling the BW line.

JMO.

Good Luck !
