Deal vs. Triumph

I can only get one right now. I need to know what the biggest differences are in terms of length, hook, carry, and forgiveness.

A personal opinion on preference would help as well, lol.

Triumph or the Real Deal ... depends upon your preference and how they match up to your style and how good of a relationship you have with your Pro Shop pro; I'd avoid the Deal ... haven't you noticed how cheap they are all of a sudden ??? IMHO, of course.

I dont personally have these two balls but a buddy of mine has both and the triumph seems to be a stronger overall ball than the deal. The deal has decent backend and alot of control but seeing him throw the triumph it seems much stronger of a ball and looks like it will handle heavier conditions than the deal. Put it this way when we bowl league the triumph stays in the bag because its too much ball and the deal is his league play ball, it is the first out of the bag. It just leaves alot of seven pins for him but it rolls nicely. If you are looking for a everyday control ball then get the deal. If you want something that will give you a good move on heavy oil, then get the triumph.

I agree the Triumph is the stronger of the two.
I just purchased The Deal(my first Hammer ball)a few weeks ago, and I am very happy with it.
I have used it on medium to oily, medium, and light conditions and the results were the same. Great length, smooth/controllable back-end, and extremly hard-hitting! I have averaged over 230 since buying it.
Being a power stroker, I was still able to go up the boards, and go coast-to-coast with it. The ball simply allowed me to do what I wanted it to, with hand/wrist adjustments, and speed control. I find that I do not have to switch balls as much, hence its versatility. I also left the ball as is, out of the box finish.
In spite of the numerous negative reviews that I have read, I have yet to encounter any problems with it. The carry is phenomenal, especially on half-pocket hits.
Interestingly enough, a couple of Friday's ago, someone from Minnesota shot a 900 series using The Deal....

I didnt hear that the 900 in Minnesota was with The Deal.  As many people who are not interested in that ball, I find it to be very good, oh well, I guess different strokes for different folks.  

If this is true about the 900 with The Deal, that makes 2 900's with Hammer Bowling equipment.  I tip my hat to Ed, Brian, and Ron for how they have definately resurrected the Hammer name!  If you havent tried any new stuff, you are surely missing out.  Get out there and get a Hammer Challenge at your center!!!

I am a hammer head and i am saying stay away from the deal!  It is a POS and even the ebonite rep told me this i unfortunately bought one of these before he told me this it is junk!!!!  From what i have heard the triump is a good ball.  On the other hand the real deal is what the deal was supposed to be. and is an excellent ball.  Hope this helps ya.

Take the triumph i have 2 of them plus an amp and a tnt the whold series is very good. I have a deal sitting and collecting dust skated when polished burns early dulled to 600 probably 1200 might work but have better balls so why waste my time trying to get it just right.
