Changing your release for a No Mercy?
« on: December 06, 2008, 06:09:56 AM »

With my first two No Mercy samples, I found that I had to change my release a bit -- more on the side of the ball -- to get a strong back end reaction.  I am wondering if anyone found the same reaction for their NM.

My HART may not have been far enough left on those balls, which may have required that release adjustment. I am wondering if anyone else had experienced the same result.... or, am I just delusional as usual.

thx....

Thx for the feedback Six! I really like this NM... maybe finally I am able to take advantage of the unique technology in this ball. I can cover a LOT of boards at 4000 grit with this rock! I need to order the Whup'n.... today!

P.S. Love that back-end comparison!

I'm surprised you took three chances on it. I knew a couple of people that swore the No mercy was a bust and vowed to never throw another one, but I knew what it was capable of with the right driller and drilling.
The difference between Ordinary and Extraordinary is that little Extra.

Me too! I had such Jeckyl and Hyde results with the first two.... some truly amazing results and some really bad results. Some was driller related in terms of not having the HART far enough left.

I remember buying mine and hating it with a passion. I thought my driller put the hart too far left.

I was having trouble coming out of the ball so I got the thumb redrilled and put it to 2000 abralon and the ball suddenly came to life and WAS my favorite ball.

sadly I left the ball loose in my truck and it struck another bowling ball while driving to work... both cracked and I found this out in the parking lot on league night :-(
