At 16lbs. specs are 2.49 and .049 and rated for medium oil.  As a pearlized ball it would be intended to go long and store energy to hit hard in the backend.   My BW solid is drilled pin over ring with a 3" pin  specs are 2.51 and .049 for medium conditions and achieves this.  The pearl sounds like it would be an unfortunate redundancy to my BW solid in this instance unless I used an alternate controlled arc drilling?

The pearlized coverstock will give you the length that is sacrificed by the BW solid as the lanes dry up. Despite their similiar specs it's still an apples and oranges comparison.

I'm excited. I really liked my black widow, only reason I don't use it is because the cover stock died after a few months. However hopefully a pearl won't die as quickly.

This ball will probably sell faster than the Total NV's did last season...I've got so many people waiting on this ball it isn't even funny.  I will probably drill 2 up-front for myself too...just love the BW!!!

From what anyone has heard is it going to play closer to an Angular One or Toxic/Doom ?  Med or Med-Light?

Thanks.  I was hoping for something more for medium dry.  I can throw the widow out and get length on medium dry, but i cover about 40-50 boards when the lanes really dry up and sac a lot of energy.
