It's not really a remake of the Original 3-D Offset High Rev or the High Rev Hammer brought back that had the Reaper core in it.
This ball is pretty much a US release of one of Hammer's overseas balls. While the core and cover are stated to be the same as the Burn the ball starts up a hair quicker and hooks 1-2 boards more.
One thing I can say is that this ball is significantly nicer looking than most of the Hammer balls on the market in the price point.

I bought one of these and really like the reaction! I've never used a Burn, but did have the Toxic. Really impressed with the reaction and hit. It's similar to the Complete Bedlam just a touch milder! I went with a 50deg pin down layout!
