My pro shop guy suggested an original sauce. Picking it up tomorrow. Thoughts on what to expect in general...
-
The Sauce has a LOT of built in strength, so definitely expect that. Now as for longevity.. Make sure you clean it before you put it back in the bag after every set. My Sauce is now sitting in my back, about half dead. The ball is completely different from what it used to be. Still usable, but the hit is gone, and the big arcing power roll (that's the best I can describe it) it had is gone.
This is just my personal experience. I cleaned it and all, but it didn't work. I'm not bashing Hammer, just giving my honest experience.
I hope this helps!

Mine is still going strong! Shot 300 on Feb. 5th.
Clean it with 50/50 water and simple green after
every set. I won the ball in the sauce giveaway,
great ball !!!!

It is no different than any other "soaker" coverstock. It is going to have to be maintained. I clean after every set and soak it every 45 to 60 days. I do the same thing with my Resurgence and both have over 100 games on them. As for the ball itself, Beast if thrown on enough oil. It handles cover adjustments well. I have mine set up pin over middle finger and cg a little under ring finger, cover adjusted to 4000 with rough buff.

It really depends on what you're throwing now as to what you can expect.

I picked it up after work tonight. Murdered the 2-4 running away from the headpin!! Quite a bit of hook in this one!! I don't think I'll be able to use this one too long on a THS. Anxious to see it work at Nationals.

If your new to Hammer, just expect balls that go 40 feet and look like someone kicked them left, pretty much covers it.
