Midnight VIBE Drilling Patterns
« on: April 05, 2011, 03:01:37 PM »
Looking for drilling pattern recomendations for Midnight VIBE.   I want to be able to throw the VIBE right of center (17 and 5) and and sill have a strong back end  with anticipated use on medium to medium light oil conditions or for when the lanes break down.   I am tweener with avg. speed and a 180 league avg.

Note: I currently have a Nano and Victory Road for medium to heavy oil conditions which I throw outside in patterns because of their strong hook.  I love the Victory Road's strong back end and I had it drilled with the pin above the ring ringer with the CG just right of midline in the middle of my palm (3 1/2 Pin to CG).

Suggestions?

Thanks

MK

Probably look at a 5" to 5 1/2"  pin to PAP to get the length you want and still be angular down lane.

Be good, or be good at it.

I drilled mine 60x4x60 with a P2 hole and it's far too strong off the spot for me to use on our house pattern. I have not tweaked the coverstock at all...perhaps a lower grit under the polish will help smooth out the breakpoint some.

Perhaps an earlier rolling drilling (like 40*) would help if used with a longer pin to PAP(say 5").

I fit the power stroker category 18 off my hand with a rev rate in the 325 range.

Don't know the dual angle on mine, but pin is above ring finger, cg is stacked, p1 hole.  I tried it today on some fresh medium/light oil and i was able to play down and in like I wanted to.  Laid it down at 13 to 8 at breakpoint.   Stroker/Tweener, about 300 off the hand, about 17 mph.
