First Hammer product in ages
« on: June 04, 2007, 02:57:03 PM »
After some much research I was looking for an aggressive ball I was interested in a Hammer product. The most recent ones that attracted me the most were the Pain, Black Widow and No Mercy. No Mercy did it for me, looks like a reaction I'm really craving for. This would be my first Ebonite owned Hammer product and first Hammer ball since my Faball 3-D Superflip which was my first reactive ball ever. After watching a guy throwing the No Mercy black ball going down the lane it flashed me back as a kid seeing that urethane Black Hammer tearing up the lanes and pins in the 80's as this ball seems to do in this decade.

I generally like most of my equipment drilled weak with length, around 5" to the PAP but I'm thinking of something more aggressive but nothing layed out where it will pick up too early . Something about 4 1/2 to 4 3/4. Question is where should I lay the CG/Mass Bias? I was thinking near the track or parallel to the pin. I'm a medium tracker, tweener style with slightly above average revs and average speed. I'm thinking about the number 1 drill for the medium tracker.

I'll give up my NO MERCY when they pry it from my cold dead hands.
The harder I try the harder they fall
