I was about to buy a No Mercy on here. I told the guy that I will buy it but it will take a couple days to get the money for it. I did this on Friday. I sent him a message to tell him that I will send him the money tomorrow. He sends me a message back saying that he sold it to someone else who paid right away. I was looking so forward to finally getting my hands on a No Mercy and now I'm not.

Don't be too upset. Although the No Mercy is a good ball, it's not any better than your Black Widow. The difference for most bowlers that our shop has drilled for is that the No Mercy starts a little earlier and thus is not quite is angular at the breakpoint. Both are good balls, but one isn't THAT MUCH better than the other...

Our shop has drilled at least twice as many Black Widows as No Mercys. The new pearlized Black Widow is going to be a big seller, too.

I can't wait until the Black Widow Pearl comes out. I'm gonna get it drilled by the end of June.

It would have been different if I wasn't the first to say I would buy the ball. But the fact that I said I would buy it first made me mad. I think it was more about that instead of not getting the ball.

sorry, have to side with the seller on this one. I have been burned so many times by buyers asking me to hold a ball I have for sale for a few days until they get the money and then I never even get a reply back telling me they changed their mind or they don't have the money.. I could have lost a potential buyer during that waiting period as well..

I sell to the person that has the money ready right now..

been burned also. Still if they ask me to wait, within reason, I do. When I sold crusher a Black Hammer several months ago, he had to re-ask me several times to wait. Since I had not offered it up for sale, just to him, when he posted a WTB, I waited.

I think the seller should have told him he was selling it, and that he could not longer wait. but that's me.

Let's just end the story here. I said I would pay for it by Tuesday morning, and he sold it to someone that had the money fast. I told him I was gonna buy it, it wasn't a maybe, or if I get the money by then. It was a definate thing. Long story short, I didn't have the money right away, and someone else did. Let's just end it at that.
