What conditions is this ball best suited for? WIll it handle mediums or just heavy oil?

with the pin 41/2" from pap the ball worked well for med-heavy IMO.I could basicly play anywhere on the lane with mine.don't drill it to flare real early and place the heart in you're 3-4 track flare ring and you'll be happy.my next one will be 5" pin from pap above fingers.I've had the most succsess in the recent past with the no mercy.

I agree with Sixpack! The NM can be used on medium all the way to heavy. I've been able to use the NM on many different patterns. When I bought my first NM it was very conditions specific for me. However, once I got used to the reaction the ball really shined!
I currently have a new NM coming from the pro shop. This ball is awesome! The only draw back I can find with this ball is it's maintenance. The cover on this ball needs to be maintained.
Your driller needs to know YOUR PAP in order to drill this ball correctly. I understand that a driller should always know the bowlers PAP before drilling a ball but it's even more important with the NM.

Threw 19 in row w/mine on a 41 ft. blended house shot at 1000 grit surface...BUT damn thing wouldn't even wrinkle at reno last year on nat'l 39 ft. pattern...
so house shot..excellent...medium oil best for tourney's!

I drilled on with the pin 6" from my axis 1" off of my VAL and the Heart 3" inside my track. Next, I put a high gloss on it. It actually hooks less than my strong drill blue vibe. That No Mercy is actually best on Medium-Dry to Medium and is incredibly smooth.
Honestly, though, the one I drilled strong burnt up early on the house shot.
