Personally, I have not been a big fan of mine. I tend not to be able to figure out when to use it and how it wants to be used. With my Black Widows, I have always been lined up from shot 1. The No Mercy just hasn't been as user friendly for me. About the only really good thing I can say is that it hits a ton when I happen to find the pocket with it. Still, I've been somewhat disappointed. I know that it's a good ball in a lot of hands; it just hasn't matched up well with me and my game.

I obtained one this summer through my PBA Experience league as part of Hammer being the league sponsor. I really like mine. I used it with a lot of success on all the patterns. Mine clears the heads and makes a strong arc on the end. I haven't used it yet on my league night yet but will try it soon.

I love my original No Mercy. I chose to punch it up the #1 drilling.  This ball gives me length with a smooth arc.  In my arsenal, it fits between my black widow pearl and anger.

Best ball Hammer ever made IMO.you can check out mine in my profile.I'm considering getting another one but decided to wait and see what the riseing looks like.if you have some hand drill it to go a little long and use it for a med-heavy shot.

six pack, just out of curiosity, how much negative side weight is on your no mercy? seems like there'd a lot. not a big deal really, just wondering.

looks like alot,I don't know really.it dosen't seem to affect the performance for me,the ball really winds up and hooks hard.if I get another one I'll look for one with the cg offset to the right.

I got my No Mercy Beatn Drilled a few days ago and I absolutely love it. Its the first ball coming out of my bag. I got it drilled to drilling 1 and i am a med tracker. The ball seems to read very well in the mid of the lane but still carries on down the lane and then just snaps and obliterates the pins. It really does hit like a sledge hammer.

I have a love/hate relationship with mine after 3 months. I didn't like the reaction out of the box. First of all I was extremely disappointed on the overall hook and the lack of drive on the backend. This ball does play nice for me on heavy oil where I can play outside around 1-2 arrow standing on 10 out to 7. I also like this on the Shark pattern because I can stand on 20 over around the 3rd arrow not much past out 15 playing straight. The straighter I can go with the ball the harder it his. Crossing boards with this ball I can do but it hits so weak. I didn't like the box condition so I polished it. Didn't like that either as it had ever weaker backend. Tried wetsanding to 1000 and repolishing it and was better but it wasn't until I stripped the polish with a wet scotch brite green pad I like the reaction alot better. One of the few balls I like dull compared to polished.
I kind of regret the drill pattern I used, the #2 with the Mass Bias to the right of the thumb. I was going to go with #1 or 4 and now I wish I did.

I don't know if I like the "hart core". This ball is a pain to rev up on the heads. It really to me reacts like a strong urethane. I really have to hit the ball to make it react well. This is not a ball I'm tentative on the release.

Brian,
if you have the hart right of thunb and you are a righty then that would put the M.B. on or close to you're val.that would give you a very early smooth reaction just like you described.
if you want back end then place the pin above the grip line abd the hart far left of the thumb,in the 3-5 track flare ring line.

I've had mine a few months now and am really starting to see some results.  I also use a Doom and a Pain, and I wouldn't say the No Mercy hooks more than the Pain, but it gives a different reaction, revving up hard and going into a heavy roll before hitting the pins.  I was expecting more hook when i first got it, but have come to understand when to use it and what line to play for it to be most effective.  it is drilled with a 4 1/2 pin and the HART on the left side of my thumb in the first and second oil tracks.  it can overact if it hits the dry to soon, but adjustments in speed and axis rotation can keep it in the pocket.  and the carry with the No Mercy is simply fantastic, it just flattens the pins, keeping them low and kicking out the 10 pin consistently.

It’s bush league psych-out stuff! Laughable, man!

Last night was our first night in league and I dusted off my No Mercy.
I hadn't bowled since league ended in the spring. I started off with a 208,
then a 246 and then the lanes dried up and the beer kicked in and finished with
a 139. I have a #2 drilling and the ball was consistently knocking out the
10 pin. I get a nice arc with this drilling, but I have to remember to move
left on the last game when the lanes get to be toast.
