No Mercy Is A Monster
« on: April 10, 2007, 06:05:56 AM »
Just got my new No Mercy drilled up last week with the #1 layout.  This ball is by far the strongest ball I have ever owned.  I'm still toying with my ball speed and line, but so far I am very impressed.  The No Mercy is atleast 5 to 7 boards stronger than my Black Widow which I also consider a very strong ball.  Can't wait to give a try tomorrow night in league with a fresher shot.

I agree it's a monster on fresh oil, too bad the shot goes away quickly for me. I average around 220 with the ball on a fresh house shot.

i think i have finally realized how and when to use my no mercy,(now that its cracked beyond repair).I had a big problem with taps as do many of its users. What i have realized and this may sound real stupid to some because its so simple. I have been moving deeper into the oil,(i know bright light nimwhit alert),but it didnt dawn on me until really today.
I was standing 25ish and playing out to 10 when i started getting tapped. What i initially did was go to a different ball. After i had lossed all reaction i went back to the no mercy, moved to 43,hit 17 at the arrows and thru the next 5. Now the fun part. 6 shot the ball taps, didnt finish so i moved right. You guessed it, i ran high with this one. 4 shots later i moved inside the gutter cap and hit 20 at the arrows .Like new money.the ball needs side roll ,oil, and in my hand a tempered speed. instead of me shooting a great game i barely shot a duece because i have been misjudging the ball. I have always been taught to move right when the 10 pin stands not so with the no mercy. Get it in the oil and watch it roll 45 feet and then almost 90 degree turn to the pocket .Now i am wondering whether or not to get another one or try and find something stronger. The no mercy at 1000 is maybe 5 to 7 boards stronger than my battle. Could be the drill to though. the pin on my battle is a good 2 inches right of where it is on my no mercy. If i get another one its going to be pin above bridge. I just think this drill works for me.

toomany.....

standing 43 looking at 17 at the arrows?   Whew, could you go a little MORE sideways?

If I am standing at 43, I am looking at inside 4th arrow, possibly playing 5th.

The NO Mercy was not designed to hook the lane by going 43 to 17 to 5 and back.  Just not that type of ball.  I would guess that you are leaving weak 10's because the ball is DOA.

I could be wrong, but since I seem to rarely find my self looking at anything right of 15, I would be willing to guess that I am pretty close.
