Yea I got the email about this, and was going to post it, but didn't.  I wouldn't mind having the Hawgzilla, but I don't want the Elite...so instead of paying $300, I'll pay $130-$150 and call it a day.

What they should do is just give away all the PBA pattern balls.  If the pros don't even use them...well....

This is sick... money talking.

Best would be playing the Zilla and sell the Ultimate Inf... er, Shark on ebay. Some looney will still pay $200 for it, thinking it was great stuff (beyond the badge).

I really wonder how Hammer is involved and their point of view on this. I would not be happy with it...

I cannot see anyway Hammer would be happy with this promotion. They are basically saying the ball is a POS by giving it away for free..

unless hammer cut a deal wit elite/bowlersparadise, in which they could get in on the profits, because the sales of the elite products are low and elite needs a way to funnel it's expenses. BUT ID BE SHOCKED OUT MY SOCKS if that were true. Somebody needs to say something b4 speculations begin, to clear this up.

Give us the truth whether we like it or not, but knowing hammer and the Great company it is, im sure and hopeful they had nothing to do wit this. especially since im a hammerhead and i wanna believe in one of my fav companies.

You know I wonder how long it will be when Elite goes bankrupt?  I have never seen anyone use there balls.  I mean never!

This ad just makes me want the hawgzilla even more.  From all of the ball company's out there they chose Hammer.  Have to like that.

OK another thing to take into perspective, is this is 100 balls that hammer sold to Bowlersparadise... They can do what they want with the balls.  If they feel like giving them away is the best thing then so be it.  All you Hammer bowlers, should be happy... This is another way to get bowlers that aren't throwing hammer equipment. To throw some of the hammer stuff.  Actually this is a HUGE risk for Bowers paradise.  Buy giving people the chance to try another good ball, they stand a chance to loose business.  Not everyone will match up with the Shark... Some of the people who do this promo will like the Hawgzilla better.  To me it almost looks like the idea behind this advertisement is to see what ball hooks more boards, not what ball is the better ball.

Been away from the site for a while.  
This is the first I have seen of this.  
I will shoot a mail to my DSM and BG, and see if they "know" about it.

I think i just don't like the advertisment, but im a business major so of course i know that it's about money and marketing, but whats the kick is it says "Hammer claims is their "most aggressive ball ever made"" as if hammer is seeming to be a liar. It's jus the wording that gets me.  but it's business
