no mercy vrs.the widow ?

is there a big diffrence in the two?the hookshape looks the same on the videos I've seen.I've finaly got my widow where I like,a ton of length and big booming backend and now I'm considering something with more mid lane but with the same hit as the widow.I may just punch up another widow now that I'm geeting the feel of it.I had the front eight last night untill I botched it up with me release.

No mercy arcs more with better midlane read.  Still think the BW covers more boards.

The BW covers more boards on the backend, but the No Mercy will handle more oil...

...so it all depends on what you bowl on (oil /surface).  

This comes from bowling with my shop's owner who was throwing his No Mercy while I was throwing two different Black Widows.

I changed my widow's cover to 600 grit wet sand and I was amazed at how much length it still had.this was on heavier oiled synthetics but it had all kinds of energy and backend.first time I had fun throwing it.

if you want a comparsion video of both go on www.buddiesproshop.com and click on the no mercy video it compares both the widow and the no mercy.  by far the widow is more angular but it looks like they cover the same amount of boards. could be bc of the no mercy's latout... just a little fyi for ya.

I've seem my Black widow loose it's length is I don't keep the surface at 4000g.

I' wondering if a better oil ball would be a Widow at 1000g instead of a NM. Just wondering.
