OK..its freezing out and I have nothing better than to put my balls in front of the fireplace and extract the oil out of them.

So....I'm extracting the oil out of my 2 balls for the first time.  Does the oil ever stop coming out????  Wow... There is sure a lot of it!!!!

hehe, if you are speaking of the Bite in particular, it will soak up a ton.

Word of warning though, be careful how long you let one side face the fire.  could get scary hot.

I am sure someone will reply and scream at you for this, but meh... it will work

Thanks for the answer.  Apparently no one knew anything..lol...

Yeah I am watching it really close.  Its not too hot right there since I have an enclosed fireplace (glass door).  I gave up last time....Going to try again today.  See if the rest will come out.  

Still don't know if all will come out???? Or should it???

Ahem! It is much safer doing the hotwater bath!

I had a friend who did the same as you, ....left his ball on the hearth to go answer his phone, and when he came back, the entire side of his ball, where the oil was oozing out........was on fire!

Totally destroyed a two-week oil Columbia Chaos, which at the time was his favorite piece!

Better keep an eye on it!
