Vibe Lineup?

I was sitting here with a friend talking about bowling equipment when we both agreed that the Vibe line is probably one of the best line of bowling balls we've every thrown. With that in mind, is it possible to make a whole arsenal with just Vibes? We were thinking going with

Onyx(Medium-Heavy) - Pin under the bridge between the fingers, cg kicked out 45*, dulled down to maybe 2000?

Onyx(Medium) - Pin above ring, cg stacked below, OOB finish

Cherry(Benchmark) - Rico? or maybe label?

Emerald(Medium-Dry)- Pin above and between the bridge, cg kicked out 45*, polished

I would say you may need more surface than 2000 for the Onyx on Medium Heavy, but depending on how you roll the ball it could work.

I use my Onyx a ton on pure mediums with a pin down layout and the ball is fantastic, the Cherry and Emerald are both steps down and compliment the Onyx well.

The Blue Vibe dulled to about 1000 was a pretty good heavy oil ball for a lot of people.

I'm one of those people. I never bowled on anything that I couldn't throw a blue vibe on. I had 3 at one point all drilled and prepared differently. that was pretty much my arsenal for a while. What an awesome ball.

About the Vibe arsenal, I think it could definitely be done on a house shot. As far as tourney's and stuff go, it could be done, but I think it would be making things a little more difficult than they need to be. that said...it's a great series.

green vibe is pretty strong, i'd say more for mediums and drill a cherry weak for dry.

Just my 2 cents:

Med Heavy: Onyx Dull

Benchmark: Onyx OOB

Med-Dry: Cherry Vibe for playing straighter angles

Med-Dry: Emerald Vibe when wanting to play deeper with that extra pop on the backend.

I don't think you can honestly discuss the VIBE line without including the Purple.  

I love that ball - I still have and still use 3 of them!!!  All with different layouts - Pin under, pin over, and 6" pin up.  

Obviously I like these balls because of the way they get through the fronts and mids.  Many players thought these were too skid/flip or squirty, but this is why I LOVE these balls.   Lots of conditions around here are "light" oil - and with my hand - I need something to push!!  

Blue - with surface for heavy
Onyx - heavy / med
Emerald - Medium
Cherry - Medium / light
Purple - Medium / light / dry

I just don't think a "lineup" is complete WITHOUT the Purple.
