Your going to have to be more specific with your question.  Are you talking about the pin to cg distance?

It makes it a little harder to drill as far as options are concerned. It doesnt flip as hard in the back either.

Does it cause the ball to react that much different?

it wont react a whole lot different. It has more to do with drilling options.

The pin out mean the distance of the Pin to the CG.  If the pin is shorter like 1" to 2" it's not going to make much of a difference other than the way the ball is laid out.

No matter what layout you use on this ball your going to like it.  The DOOM is a fantastic bowling ball.  I mean it really is.

When I threw my DOOM for the very first time I didn't really know what to expect.  I thought it wasn't going to hook much because it was so shiny.  The first throw with this ball really blew me away.  The pin action and hook, left me saying holy $%#$!  I know of only two other balls that carry off hits as good as the DOOM.  That's the PAIN and NO MERCY.

Just remember to pick yourself up a bottle of Ebonites factory finish polish.  This is the same exact polish that's on the DOOM from the factory.  Just clean the ball after every set and add a coat of polish every 6 to 10 games.  This will keep it reacting and looking like new.

What would be the best drilling for it?To get it to go long?
