Hm really have been considering picking up a Raw Hammer Pain. Reason for is I want something that will check up earlier than my Doom on the same medium-medium light pattern that I frequently see.
Now has anyone gotten expirience with a Polished Pain, does it still start earlier than the Doom. Thanks in advance!

I have a Doom drilled stacked leverage and a Pain drilled stacked leverage. With both balls in there box condition the Pain is stronger overall because of the duller OOB surface.
Now I also polished my Pain with Ebonites factory finish polish. This is the same polish that comes on the Doom OOB. Well with the polish the Pain is still a little stronger overall than the OOB Doom. However not by much but still noticeable.
I can see having both of these balls in an arsenal while there in box condition. If you are buying the Pain with the intentions of polishing it then just buy a Doom.
Since you have a Doom already and want a polished up Pain then just drill it a little stronger than your Doom. You will see it pick up a little earlier.

I see I see, thanks Chitown, sometimes the mosterous backend from my Doom makes me feel like I want more of a controlled ball on the same lane conditions, and I though that just maybe a Polished Pain might fit the bill, oh well, maybe Doom #2 at 2000 grit abralon or soo may be in the near future.
