Title: Polishing Hawg zilla?

Has anyone had any luck polishing the HZ, to say a 4000 Abralon to get some length out of it? My brother's extremely frustrated with his (only bowled with it 3 games), we just don't bowl on enough oil for it, so before I get rid of it for him, will it give him more length polishing it?
