Raw Pain Question?
« on: November 21, 2006, 01:45:51 AM »
I am looking around for a ball for a buddy of mine who is just starting to get into bowling. Right now he rolls the strait ball and is looking to start putting some spin on the ball. He asked me to find a good mid priced ball for him, and from the responses i have heard from you guys about the PAIN i think that might be the ball for him. Any responses to this being a ball for someone to start out with.

I don't think it would be all that bad of a choice.  The Pain is strong, but it's a controlled move, not a skid/snap.  I might be more inclined to start with a Vibe for a bowler just starting to hook the ball, though.  The Pain is STRONG!
