I feel with proper maintenance to ANY bowling ball, no matter the brand, you can make a ball last for as long as you choose. Hope this helps! God Bless!

I agree with the above post, I have a Black Widow Solid that I have over 300 games on and I have given it hot water baths, clean after each set and just used Valentino's Resurrection to resurface and it is still rolling strong!

None of the other hammers I've bought (Toxic, Bite, BWS) have had the issue since I cleaned them immediately after each set.

Tony C never said that he had supposedly 300 games on his BWS, I did and they are actual games. Just bowled a 4 game set with it on Monday and will be using it tonite in league. You may have had problems with your ball but that does not mean that because you have problems that every other Hammer or Ebonite user has the same problems. I did state the maintenance that I have done with my BWS to keep it in condition. DC if you are willing to use maintenance and do occasional oil extractions you should be just fine with any Hammer or Ebonite products.

I've never resurfaced this ball and over time the reaction has gotten slightly (2-3 boards overall) weaker. To me though, it is a better ball now because it rolls more evenly. It was gold at last year's TAT. Paid for itself in side pot money.
No problem with any other piece of Hammer equipment.

If you knew anything about bowling balls, baking or heating your ball is not recommended by the manufacture. Storm and Ebonite the leaders in best balls in the world do not advise to bake the ball. Just good cleaning is best and resurface when needed

Great post. You proved what I said, you are a moron. Every once in a while a ball goes bad. That's life. I've probably been bowling longer than a termite like you has been alive. I've never had a ball die. Had many that didn't fit my game which may well be your problem. None of my Hammerhead friends have had any problems either so I can only speak from that. You offering your uneducated blather to a person like DC38 who wanted an honest answer is just another example of the pinheaded twerps who have nothing better to do than skulk around this website and offer crap up to people wanting to learn the game.
