I'd think so. Might be finger heavy with the CG up higher, but you can always drill deep fingers or a wt hole well above the mid plane. But hey, I'm not a driller.

Adam,
I have the same drill on my Sling Blade with only a 2" pin with no problems.

Drill the fingers deeper if the ball has a high top.

It all depends on your span and top weight from what I understand. Plus have your driller check to make sure the cg is correct. When I bought the Doom I purchased two of them. Both had 4" pin outs. I drilled them different from each other. Well the one I drilled with the pin to the right of my ring had the cg mismarked. It was really a 3" pin out. I ended up trading that one in. I don't like that layout that I put on the ball.
Well I told my driller today to order me another Doom with a long pin out. I should get it soon. I'm going to drill it the same as the one I have now. Pin above and in between the bridge with the cg kicked right to 1oz no balance hole.
I think you should be OK. If your worried then see if you can send it back and exchange it for a longer pin out one.
