It's time for an oil extraction/sanding when....
« on: February 14, 2007, 07:30:04 AM »
For Black Widow owners (and all others)----feel free to finish this sentence:

"It's time for an oil extraction and/or ball sanding when.........."

I'm looking for symptoms - I take it the answer could be things like
"when the ball flattens out/stops hooking; skids too much, etc.".

thanks for your help

I'm sure the ball is not rolling out on me.

Any 20 Games no matter what and i am playing on medium oil.

Tip not too hot and not to long and more often. My wife works in research for a company called Bayer go figure. So her opinion is very important to me. Dig it more often in less hot water will cause the plasticizer to push the oil out of the Coverstock without to many los of it. Keep it shore that the Capillars of the Coverstock are open, in other words clean Surface.

As you clean the ball more oil comes out of the shell.

The ball looks like it was rolled in a parking lot.

I usually do oil extraction before there are noticable signs myself.

.....you have that stupid, puzzled look on your face as to why the ball is not finishing and your average drops 25 pins.

BOWLER19 said it best....when you clean your ball and oil still resurfaces....its time for the oven. That goes for all particle oil soakers.
