What is a BNIB 15# Hammer Big Blue Pearl worth?
« on: March 06, 2014, 04:19:15 PM »
Hey guys...been a long time since I've been on here. Unfortunately due to injury and time restraints, I've really all but gotten out of bowling. I'm a casual now.

Anywho...

I have a NIB in original box big blue pearl. Good specs (don't have off hand, buried in closet) but I do remember it's a good pin and top weight. I had bought this years back and it's just been collecting dust. I personally feel like this is a collector ball because they're just about impossible to find, let alone undrilled. So my question...

What is it worth?

Thanks guys.

lots of factors go into it (pin, top weight, how much it weighs), but the most important aspect is this....... did people want it when it was released, and do people want it now?

The "big blue" series wasn't a game changer, but it wasn't a bad series release either; I'd think that (if its 14 or 15 pounds with good specs) that you should be able to get around $140-$175 for it.

If it was an original blue hammer, or even a 3d offset solid/pearl, then you'd be talking a lot of money. A big blue pearl is nice, but not enough to get "overly" excited....

Sorry to pop your bubble
Reax-45x4.5x40(pin down)
Nexus (original)- 45 x 4 x 35 (pin up)
503t-45x4.5x40
Source-60 x 5.5 x 50
Nexxxus f(p+s)-70x5.5x35
Marauder-55x5x50 (2k+polish)
300t-60x5.5x50 (+polish)
Melee-75x6x40 -- Anyone want to buy this?

Hey no problem. That's why I'm asking. Just really didn't know what kind of realm it fell into. Thank you!

Put it on ebay with a high reserve or start the bidding at $200 or so. If no one bites, you will know its worth less. But you can get lucky and have a couple of bidders who can't live without the ball.

Likely $150-200 on ebay.
