ah crap good catch, I meant right of ring lol.
First off, all of the following reviews were thrown on college sport shots. No such thing as a house shot anymore for me lol.
Bowled about 5 games on a tight shot, only line seemed to be standing on 2nd dot from the right and throwing out between 1 and 5 way downlane. If you stood anymore right it, ball would go brooklyn. Any farther left, and you would be in the channel. If you planned on playing this line, you had to have something that would turn the corner.
First few shot I threw went wide and barely stayed on for the 10 pin. after some adjustments, I found a nice breakpoint.
In my opinion, this ball is not as angular as buddies video shows. The ball is very strong, but VERY VERY VERY smooth. It has the really strong arc withoout being angular. Kinda hard to describe. Almost too smooth lol. The ball rolls amazing, hits great, and is very predictable. It recovered very well from shots that were 1-2 boards out, coming in light, but with enough power to get the whole rack.
Overall, I couldnt say it enough. VERY VERY Strong arc, BUT ITS SMOOTHER THAN BUTTER. I know that may not make sense to some people, but trust me, this ball will be great for shots were there is plenty of dry downlane, and most other equipment is overreacting. But, a fair WARNING: It cannot handle oil. I would say medium is as deep as it goes, unless there is dry downlane. medium/heavy and Heavy oil are easily out of the question unless there are some serious surface changes.
I would definitely say I wish I had this ball before now so i could have throw it on house shots, because I almost guarantee this ball will tear most house shots up.
Any questions, I would be happy to answer them.
Thanks,
Chrispy
