does anyone here know if the razyr is the first ball released with a pancake core and reactive cover...just curious...TIA

No. Columbia Scouts, Ebonite Tornado, etc. all pancake core reactive cover balls.

5 - 10 years. Old technolgy, used today to combat hooking lane conditions.
