has anyone tried dulling the surface of this ball, i have to throw it in a one ball league, and i am not sure if the polished surface is working well enough.

Yes, box finish was too touchy for me. 2000siaair ended up being the reaction I liked best. This is one of my favorite bowling balls right now.

took mine to 500 and then polished it.
Still gets through the heads well and doesn't go quite as long
