So not a hybrid but another pearl. Most likely stronger than the original though. Given the motion of the Rebel and Rebel Solid I think the Yell might be the best yet. Seems like a strong pearl coverstock would fit that core even better.

They have the review up at BTM where it got decidedly mixed reviews.  Guess its easy to blow through the breakpoint.

Definitely clean up front, nice arcing motion downlane.
Absolutely needs to see some friction
Probably would be better if it had a little surface, bit it fits a hole in the arsenal the way it is

Interesting quotes from their ratings section:

"We felt that the change in coverstock gave the Rebel Yell more length than the original Rebel."

"We had just a little less back end recovery from the Yell than from the original Rebel."

"The Rebel Yell will fit right between the previous two Rebel releases in total boards covered."

Not sure how a ball can have more length and less back end, yet cover more boards than another ball.

Why I guess many on here often mention something about a grain of salt and BTM reviews.  Heard people say they often trust BJI reviews more.  I play so up the boards with my speed dominant low rev style that a ball like this unless keep 500 grit surface on it would be a glorified spare ball.  Still I could see it fitting in some other people with different styles bag.  Well priced if nothing else.

I punched my Yell last week.  On the house shots I see in league I usually start with a Gauntlet Fury or a Real One.  Fury is stronger than the Real One and the Yell fits nicely below those for later in the night.  I get plenty of motion down lane on mine.  Definitely a nice ball for the burn or lighter volume house conditions.
