polished sauce

i was weondering if anyone has polished a sauce,and if so what results did you have.i had mine taken to 1000 in the hopes of it having a little more drive ,but it was only marginal.Now i am thinking of polishing it over the 1000. it isnt a bad look down lanes but not nearly what i was looking for.
   Its drilled 4 x 2 or so with mb 1 inch ftrom thumb,pin just right of and under ring.As it sits right now its 5 boards right of my virtual gravity.

My Sauce has been great polished, hit it with a 4000 Abralon pad and two small drops of Ebonite polish. Can be retouch it a couple times, but then it needs to be sanded and repolished.

This has basically allowed to use the ball for a entire series.

I had mine polished, it hits like a truck, i prefer this one over my other sauce that is not polished, it has alot more of a backend to it.

I'll never touch my Sauce with polish. It's the oil ball I've always wanted, and couldn't ask for anything else.

I'd suggest buying a different ball to fill that spot instead of taming the "BEAST".

honestly ,i did polish the sauce over the 1000 grit. I must say the ball woke up ,but it was still only a medium ball.great response and carried well,but its right in line with the gravity shift nvd and many other good medium oil balls. dont get me wrong i shot well with it after i polished it i just have way too many balls just like it.

I've been having some really strange reactions with the Sauce.  It seems that the ball is either fantastic or just will not carry.  I like the way the ball moves down the lane.  I'll be striking with it then all of a sudden it's like someone let the air out of the tire. hiyt the pocket blah.....

I am so lost one how someone can call a Sauce or a NVD a "medium oil ball". I wish I could use my NVD on mediums without moving left of 40.

maybe i miss spoke .the sauce ,after i polished it is a good medium ball.At 1000 it is ,in my hand not very good for heavier conditions and really not versatile enough for lighter shots.It is a good ball .Honestly ,I dont have much hand so it is hard for me to find a ball to finish with any real oil on the lanes.
   In defense of the sauce I did have an opportunity to throw it in some oil .A couple of weeks ago started out warmups on a fresh shot and she washed out for me didnt even wrinkle. My teamate threw and threw 10 out of 11 strikes playing the same part of the lane so he bought it and its awesome in his hands,almost makes me feel bad about myself and wonder what i am doing so wrong.

I have two Sauces, one I keep dulled and have the pin below the fingers, the other one depending on the pattern I'm bowling on, I'll either polish it, or use a little less surface, and I have that one drilled with the pin above the fingers.  When polished, I love the pin up Sauce on medium-dry to dry conditions.  Doesn't flip like my Emerald Vibe, and gives a nice, controlled breakpoint, and of course, better length, than the dulled Sauce.  Makes for a nice combination.
