I saw one in person last night and it is sweet looking and it does look like the picture.  Hammer/Ebonite are doing great with the new ball colors with the exception of maybe a few.

I should just quit bowling, oh wait I already tried that.
Now that I am back and my Saws are sharp again, I am ready to cut some wood.

Drilled my saw blade pretty tame putting the pin above and to the left of middle finger(i am right handed), with the cg in the middle of my span.  With this drill the ball obviously goes long, like i wanted, but most impressively it reads the mid lane tremendously well.  Ball is very predictable at the breakpoint as I wasnt sure if it was going to be too much back end for me but the ball makes a nice transition to the pocket throwing pins everywhere.  Job well done by Hammer again with this ball.  Might ask for another one and drill maybe label to see the difference.

wubowler, thanks for the review. but what's the lane condition that you've tried on? Is the surface polished or dull ? What grit polish is it?

Bowled on both Old AMF Wood lanes on there last cut, ball had no problems getting down the lane.  And also on about 6-7 yr old synthetic lanes.  Again very clean.  Ball comes out of box polished at about 1000.  Pretty shine no extra polish is needed.
