Sling Blade Dry lane ball?

This ball by no means is for dry lanes unless it is a light wall thats 45 feet.  This ball is the most angular ball that i have ever thrown.  I can use it on carrydown or other messed up shots but not for burt heads or burnt lanes Hammer's advertising was wrong it is not for ppl who like to throw it strait

AGREED.  I have seen several different folks roll them, and no matter how they are drilled, they all seem to straighten out right before the pins.  All you have to do is get lined up.  
If you want a Hammer for dry lanes, get either an original black Hammer or one of the original pearls (blue or red).
Don't get me wrong, the Sling is a great ball (I shot 815 with one this season), but like any other ball, you have to find the right condition.  Same thing with the Pure Hammer (shot 300 with that one).

yeah, this one definately was different than advertised.  
I personally had 3, all with different drillings, and I could not get this ball to work for me.  

I hope the VIBE will be the dry lane ball that we all expected the Sling Blade to be.

i have to agree,..........the sling blade is a very strong ball with a sharp angle. i bought one with the intent of it being a dry lane ball. even drilled weak, the sling blades coverstock is so strong that it is actually a light medium to medium ball for me. i ended up getting a faball blue pearl hammer NIB for dry lanes that has proved to be a great savior on tough dry conditions.......

Needless to say it does work well, just not in the exact application it was intended for.
