Has anyone compared the two side by side? I have a Sling Blade (one strong arsed ball) and was wanting to bridge the gap between it and my Faball Blue Pearl. Could the Vibe be it?

Could someone tell me where this "Great Wall of China" is???

I too have been wondering what kind of success people are having with the Vibe. Love the name and look, and it sounds like something that could work awfully good for the dry/desert I see in tourneys sometimes. Anyone used this ball extensively?

I have 2.
I have reviewed them both, in 1 review.
This ball is the one you are looking for to bridge that gap.
The Sling Blade was WAY stronger than it was supposed to be.
The VIBE is Hammers light/dry/intro ball. The ball has a performance core and is a polished pearl. This ball gets down the lane better than ANY other Hammer, except for the TUFF, BUT it recovers off of the back.
Pick it up, you won't put it down!!

No way. Both have less than 5 games each on them.
I bowl summer league in Champaign, where I live, and I don't need them there. Too much oil. But, now that winter league is rolling around I will, as I bowl a league in Decatur, where I work. Confusing, I know. Long day.
Will let you know how they perform on THS, at Pla-Mor Lanes in Decatur, after tomorrow night.

Southern Illinois FTW

Northern Illinois here, but I've been down in those parts before, Decatur and of course Champaign.

Bowled last night.
Started with VIBE #1. 51/2" pin to PAP 60* layout. Pin under bridge.
Started the ball at 17 at the arrows out to 7. Flush.
236 with an open.
220 with a BIG 4. Changed balls to VIBE #2 in the 12th, as the ball was revving a little early and not getting back strong enough.
VIBE #2. 5" Pin to PAP 75* layout. Pin above and rt of ring finger.
Front 10, bad shot, 287.
743 for the first night out with the VIBE's on lighter THS.
I had a former exempt Ebonite staffer tell me that the ball rolled incredible, and that he wishes Ebonite had that ball in their lineup. TOO BAD!!

Completely different motion.
The burgundy is the urethane reaction of old.
The vibe still has the reactive motion and continuation through the pindeck.
