Title: Small adjustment to my DOOM and .......WOW

I had my Doom drilled with the pin above the bridge with the CG kicked out a little. I was really having a hard time controlling it because the back end was just too much. Took it to my shop guy to check the side weight and it was right at 1 oz positive. Put in a small weight hole, to bring the side weight to even, and got just the reation I was looking for. It took some of the back end out and gave me more control. Here are the results:

254-269-225=748

Highest set I have had in 3 years. This ball now gives me more of an arc roll. Hits and carries very well, only had 2 ten pins all night. Looks like I have jumped on the Chitown bandwagon. Great job Hammer.

I will be there the weekend of March 31st. The Friday, Saturday and Sunday. I have got something going on Friday night and possibly Saturday night. I will call you and see if we can get together.

Sounds good!! I am open friday or saturday evening, just let me know.. Is the wife coming or just you?  I actually bowl city tourny that saturday and sunday at irving lanes.. maybe you can go and hang out with me one of those days..

Great shooting bud.  This ball does just flat out carry great.  I'm gald you didn't give up on it and did something to find that perfect reaction fo you.

Is this not the most controllable skid flip ball you have ever thrown?  It is for me.

Now you just need another one to dull up and use over the one you just got.lol

I finally got my Doom back to where it should be.  On the recommendation of chitown, i took it in steps from 1000 to 600 and back again.  Then put extender polish on it.  Not factory finish this time, it messed up the reaction last time lol.  I went out, and shot 647 last night after the cover adjustments.  Thanks Chi.  this ball KICKS ANUSES

I am the official PRINCIPAL of the NU SKOOL.  In my skool, all pupils will throw OLD SKOOL equipment.  One may have a new ball or two, but the primary ball must be OLD SKOOL.  Newer is not always better.

I threw mine a blisterd the rack, ball came back with a gash mark almost on the track....ball hits to hard man....ball hits to hard

I hate that when you throw a ball and it comes back all marked up.  I remember throwing a new ball for the very first time and it came back with 2 long scrathes on it.  I guess there was a screw sticking out in the back of the rack machine.  I was pissed to say the least.  I ended up trading the ball in anyways because it sucked.  It was not a hammer ball though.

Ok, Friday night league with the Doom again. I tell you what, I could get used to this:

So far since I found the reaction I wanted, it has been, (Last friday - 748) (Wed - 656) (Tonight - 745) WWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHHOOOOOOOOOO.
