i have been thinkin about drilling a BWP since i loved my black widow and i dont have a pin up pearl in my arsenal right now. Basically just lookin for a reason to drill one. I wanna do a no 1 layout just like my BW. What is everyone thaughts on the ball ?

I have been having some difficulty with this ball, but it is probably just me. I can have a really good game, then all of a sudden, I just suck. Something like a 200 plus game, then the next game I get like a 160.
Today was a good day, had a 214, 195, and a 246 with the BWP. I have it out of box right now. I did have it OOB with polish, but it seemed a bit squirty, so I don't have any polish on it now and it seems much better for me.

IMO, the BWP is a "surface tweakers" delight.
Mine is drilled pin up, 5" pin to pap with the MB around 45 degrees. For me OOB was too long and jumpy. Also it wasn't very good on carry down. I intended to use this ball in a second shift league so that reaction wasn't going to cut it. I hit it with a 2000 abralon pad and the ball came to life. Pretty clean up front with a strong move downlane, even through moderate carrydown.
Since I'm a true tweaker I wanted to see if I could find a "better" reaction. Right now it's at 800 wet sand plus Bean's Special Sauce. I don't have enough games with this surface to form a full opinion but it's a bit longer with a more angular move than at 2000.

Very true. I played with it quite a bit and although it got better with some surface, it didnt live up to what I expected. I was originally hoping for the same line and shape as the solid but a few feet longer, but it didnt work out that way

I was getting over/under reaction with the OOB 4000 surface. So I took it down to 2000 grit and that gave me better control on the lane. It's definitely worth having in your arsenal.
