Ok looking to get a ball to fit under my Arson Low Flare. For me with OOB surface its my benchmark ball and really need something for when things are lighter or burning up.
I know there is the Spike, Titanium, Vibe and then the Blue Urethane. However, I really like the more smooth continuous motion of the ALF versus the more angular motion of a ton of other stuff.
I'm not really up on which is smoother and which is more angular comparatively so some help would be much appreciated. :)

Columbia Freeze

have a friend in the same spot you are in, he went with the freeze based on our pro shop(Bill Monce) and it was spot on. very dry older wood lanes

I love the Freeze but not Columbia's new website format.

that new format blows.
Hammer website much better, comes out of the same building to...go figure
they are going to sort of re-brand or re-market each brand a little differently.
Columbia will be the bright, fun colors
Track will be for the tech guys, more numbering
Hammer will be the "tough" brand
forget what the exact theme is for Ebonite
EBI has some cool stuff on the way, 1st part of 2014

I know you might laugh, but I would drill up another ALF and hit it with a 3000 pad with FF polish. I have a total of 3 ALF with 1 polished for the drier patterns, but still gives me that smooth motion on the backends with a very little pop...

Had actually thought about that as well but I'm thinking I may pick up a couple of different pieces just to see anyways. Always wanted a Urethane and I need a spare ball as well so may drop down to something like the True Blood and if maybe both of those or either are too weak I'll just go the ALF route ( I don't think they would be though)
