Title: Success with Deep Purple Taboo
Post by: JohnP on January 08, 2013, 10:23:04 AM
About a week and a half ago I drilled a Deep Purple for one of our best bowlers.  He wanted it primarily for local tournaments on more oil than our THS, I layed it out 45*/3.5"/45*.  He threw it about one game after we drilled it, then tried it in league last Friday because he had a tournament Saturday and wanted a little history with it.  He shot 300 the first game and 246 the second game, then the shot dried out (he admitted he should have changed balls) and shot 204 the last game.  He averaged over 230 in the tournament, even with leaving quite a few single pins, but missed the cut by 8 pins - scores were very high.  He's happy!!  --  JohnP

Congrats on the drilling of this very versatile Taboo. There are a lot of bowlers in my area having success with the Deep Purple Taboo too...

If anyone is looking, I have a Deep Purple Taboo with very few games on it that I'm looking to move. For whatever reason, I just can't seem to match up with it. If you're interested, check out my sale post and/or get in contact with me via PM or by text to 815.919.4209. Thanks!
