surface change - BW or BWP

has anyone changed the surface on there black widow or widow pearl from 4000grt ( OB finish ) to 2000 or lower ?

if so how different did the ball roll ?

My BW solid is at 2000.  I love it.  It really smoothed out the reaction and has made the ball more controllable.

At 4000 (oob) it would really snap on the back and I'd get a lot of over/under.

i have had my Black Widow at 500, 2000 and 4000. 2000 and 4000 seem to work best. 500 there was never enough oil.
