I won a Jigsaw Trap this weekend at a tournament and looking for drilling suggestions. I am generally a storm/Rotogrip guy with typically drills in the neighborhood of 65 x 5 x 35 for symmetrics and 4 1/2 x 4 1/2 x 2 for asymmetrics. (pin generally above the ring finger and MB slightly positive).
I talked for awhile to a knowledgeable driller at the tournament and he suggested a 5 x 8 x 2 3/4 drill for the trap which essentially puts the MB on the track side of the (pin still above ring finger). Note: the PSA equivalent for this drill would be 105 x 5 x 40.
I have never drilled anything with a mb on the track side of my thumb and I wanted to get some thoughts from here before I drilled it up. BTW, I want the ball to be smooth through the heads and snappy with continuation on the backend (similar to my Victory Road). Thoughts?
Thanks
