depends on how you drill the ball. It will definatly snap hard off of dry. Mine (pic in profile) gets into a roll EARLY thanks to the mass bias close to my axis. The cover is 1000 sanded with 1 coat of magic shine. I can play straight up or swing the lane depending where i am. A great ball.

Mine is drilled 4 1/2 by 4 1/2.
It's at 1000-abralon and has Ebonite PowerHouse Extender Polish on it.
I use it for a second shift league that is notoriously dry anyway so by second shift it's pretty dried out. The Deal gives a very nice arc in it's current state for me. Starts up well in the midlane and smoothly transitions at the back, not snappy.

My experience with the Deal is that it is not really a dry lanes ball. It simply is too grabby. It is an excellent wet/dry lanes ball though. It will skate through the heads and then flip with the best of them on the dry back ends.
But, even drilled really weak, I believe the cover is too strong for really dry lanes. Hope this helps. Scott

Is it for control? i desprately need a ball for control on dry... all my balls are too strong(bagged my absolute inferno for it eas tooooo strong even to be used on 39 foot oil synthetic)
