No Mercy?
« on: November 25, 2006, 04:02:16 PM »
I know this question is kind of premature since the NM just came out.  Do you guys think there will be a No Mercy pearl in the future?  Is it normal practice for Hammer to come out with a pearl for each line?

Since the NM is part of a new line with Hammer i'm curious what the future releases in this line will be?

I am getting a lot more playing time with my NM.  This ball is awesome.  I get a very strong arc that's very controllable.  Another great thing about this ball is how it handles carrydown.  The NM cuts right thru it with out a problem.  Then of course the hitting power this ball has is sick!  It really crushes the pins.

I know some have had a little trouble with there NM's.  That really sucks because if you find the right layout for your game this ball is just amazing!

I would expect a pearl version. It was said there will NOT be a pearl B/W, but one is on the approved list. I would also expect there to be no real answer from Hammer for a while, so sales of the N/M don't fall, then, the release of the pearl.

I also think more people used the #1 layout when it was/is not the best for them and that's why some have had no luck with the ball. I understand it's new and Hammer was trying to help folks in laying out this ball, BUT...if that layout is no where near what works for a person, there are several to pick from. I just think folks went over board and didn't look at more than #1 and that could be a reason it doesn't work for them.

I would agree with the statement that perhaps people drilled the bowling ball incorrectly for their style. It's a case of knowing where your track is and putting the heart in or as close to that track as you can...regardless. It's a good ball, without a doubt. And some bowling balls just don't work with some people...that's a simple fact. This one will work for most and do a very good job of knocking down pins. You've got eight patterns to choose from.

It's just the misaligned NM's that have given most users that didn't like the NM.   I'd bet that around 75% of the folks that didn't like the NM had a misaligned ball and didn't get it fixed.  I did and love mine.

best ball I've owned in a long time.I think I would get another either polih it up with a diffrent pattern on it or a pearl depending what I need at the moment.to me it's nothing special about the roll but the NM just carries so great and that's what sold me on the core.
