my new toxic and no mercy

wow is all i can say...i wanted it for drier broke down lanes but this ball is a monster...needs alot of head oil but if it has it the ball turns sideways and carry is unbelievable..on THS i wanted to be able to play to the right maybe 13/14 to 5, uh no...had to play 19- 10..had to get out of it after first game..carrydown is a mother at my house...anyway love the ball but not exactly what i had in mind when i drilled it, pin up 5 in from pap, at 60 degrees. may play with surface a little but i like the look i get with it now..

the no mercy on the other hand i don't know about yet..it was overunder from the start...i put it up until i could change the surface..took it to 2000 with abralon pad and 2000 grit polish, made it nicer, smoother and more predictable..but will tell you this my toxic was 5 more boards of total hook than the no mercy..i may take no mercy to 1000 with some polish and try this out...

I would take your NM to 1000 grit and no polish.  There's no way that the TOXIC should hook more than the NM.  Not a chance unless your bowling on some really dry lanes and the NM was burning up beyond belief.

I agree, You may not have your NM drilled correctly. That is one of the main reasons this ball has such a bad rep. I love my no mercy, my team mate has a toxic, and when I want I can throw anywhere from 4 to 8 boards more hook with my No mercy vrs his toxic.

After you throw your no mercy where are your flare rings on the ball, are they touching the hart. THe only problem I have with my NM, is when the lanes carry down quite a bit or they are burned up, you need to put it away it will burn up all of its energy half way down the lanes, The ball lives off the oil.
