Unique drilling for the Black Widow
« on: August 14, 2007, 03:33:49 PM »
Hey everyone! I'm looking for a different drilling for my third Widow. I have two punched up right now and I have a third one on the way and I'm looking for a different reaction from this ball than the other two. Heres a link for for pics of both of them. http://s201.photobucket.com/albums/aa41/bowl-2-win/Black%20Widows/

I bowl on a THS, Modified HS, PBA shots and Sport Shots. My stats are PAP: 5 1/4 over and 1/8 up, 18-19 MPH ball speed, 320+ rev rate and high track.

I was considering a rico drilling but was just seeing what some of my other options are. Any help is great everyone! Thanks in advance.

depending on the pin length you could drill it label and put the cg under the middle

I would put the pin above the fingers about 5.5" from your pap, MB on your val.  I think would give you a different look than the other two.  You could also change the cover to get more separation.

you could always try the "315 degree drilling", I have a " The Professional" drilled that way, and out of the box I shot a 300 with it. I recently hit it with "Beans Secret Sauce" and now thing thing hooks even more.

In on board with what chitown suggested...

...try one with a longer pin-pap distance and a MB around 60-70 degrees.  I might even consider polishing the ball.

Thanks chitown, that sounds good. I have one BW at 1000 and the other at 500 and I was planing on keepinthis one bow. I think this may be a good combo for one of my BPW's thats drilled similar to this.
