is there a good urethane comparison?

I threw an early 90's Hammer Blue during league on Monday, so now I'm looking to add one to my bag. I figure I'd go with the company that has never given up on them.
So which of the 4 do I want?

I'm looking for one for a THS where the best line is up the 7 to 4 board, with a later move.

You could also try a reactive ball with the "boomer" layout. That will give you a similar roll. I have one drilled and it has bailed me out a few times, most recently a 290 last night after over/under with my current equipment.

Those early 90s Hammer urethanes would have been made by the folks running Visionary Bowling Products now, so a Visionary Crow might be a better match than the current Hammer urethanes.

I don't know about that. Everybody on here has said the Crow is pretty strong for a urethane so it probably wouldn't fit the bill of a 7-to-4 line with a later move.

My guess would be a Purple Pearl. The Black is early as is the Burgundy (which isn't urethane). The Blue has had mixed results from what I've seen and most agree it's a resin-urethane hybrid as opposed to a true urethane. It might work and it might not, these types of balls are pretty hard to recommend since they're so dependent on the situation and the individual. Far more so than resin balls.

I visited genesis facility while back and I was shown their urethane ball, I forgot the name of the ball. I was told that the ball was designed the old school way, not like modern urethanes of today. The ball come out of the visionary plant..... I almost dug into my pocket and bought that ball. but the price for that genesis urethane was twice the cost of old urethane (if I remember), I decided I'll go with a Blue Hammer. Blue hammer has been the highest scoring ball in my bag this season.....

The Crow is strong, but it is still a true urethane. It rolls a lot like the old blue hammer, which in its day hooked a lot compared to the other urethane's of that day.

Jason told me that the Crow will slow down some with more games, which also happened to old school urethanes. SO I think the Crow is a good choice, but as always weigh your options..
