I recently attended an EBI Demo Day. The Pink is a favorite of our local high rev staffer running the event. He's been killing our THS leagues with it, and he pushed me to try the Pink out first.
 
I was really impressed on the fresh. I could square up, throw up the boards, and the angular turn to the pocket was nice. I threw several strikes in a row hitting all areas of the pocket. I put it down and tried out some other balls for a while.

When I started throwing the Pink again, I lost much of my original look. The heads/mids were breaking down the ball started hooking earlier. Going up the boards left me going through the nose. When I moved in to catch more oil, I got too much skid and tended to blow through the break point. I had to be perfect playing the wet/dry to get to the pocket. My medium revs were not enough to overcome this reaction.

The players I've seen have success with the Pink tend to be higher rev styles. Based on my experience with with ball, I understand why now.

The gals at the queens right now are using it quite a bit. Not much rev rate for a majority of them. The shape looks good and it it retaining energy for the limited few I have seen video of

It’s the best asymmetric pearl out of Kentucky in a good while.  The core is legendary and when they nail the cover on it, it becomes a sensational bowling ball.  The aggression pearl cover seems to match up better than than a lot of the pearl covers that they have tried in the past.  It takes cover adjustments very well so it can handle medium to medium-heavy patterns like a beast. It’s not too angular but it goes through the pins very well. I’ve yet to see someone who didn’t like it. I’d recommend it for any style if they see a decent amount of oil.  I wouldn’t throw it on burn or heavy oil, but it’s a great upper benchmark ball.  The hype is well deserved imo. #TeamEBI

There are a lot of Black Widow Pinks being used in leagues and tournaments in the Phoenix area. Practically everyone I've seen rolling the BWP is doing so successfully and with personal high games and series to show for it. Strokers, tweeners, crankers, moderate speed and revs, higher speed and revs. Out of the box, the BWP just seems to match up well with typical conditions. The BWP seems to be one of those transcendent pieces that moves an entire market from time to time. Virtual Gravity, Black Widow Pearl, IQ Tour Pearl, Paradox, Mastermind, Conspiracy, Mission, etc. come to mind.
