I agree, drill the doom fairly mild and/or for length/snap if you want it to complement the BW; might consider taking the shine off the BW with a grey SB pad.
I have 2 BW's, 2 Dooms and 2 Pains. The 2 dooms are drilled: 1) Pin above ring with cg in midline (nice easy arc with a last minute snap in the backend---very nice for when the lanes have broken down but are not fried). 2) Pin right of ring stacked leverage (good skid with a more aggressive midlane and strong snap---again, good ball for 3rd game but more prone to overreact than #1).
My Bw's are drilled for: 1) length and aggressive snap, and, 2) snap with hookset (carries high hits like nothing I've ever seen before).
Pains: Drilled same as the dooms.
Add a Vibe (or in my case a desert Heat) and I'm good to go.
