Black Widow Pearl VS Domination
« on: October 01, 2007, 01:19:08 AM »
Im looking in to drilling a strong pearl ball that can help me really open up the lanes. I have a Black Widow at 2000 which works very well but when it starts over reacting i have a Storm Fired Up pin under ring which helps me square up on the lanes and get a nice long reaction with a very controllable arcing backend but i can not get the continuous roll i need to have to play that deep inside line that i have to play sometimes in later games in tournaments. I have my Black Widow drilled #1 layout pin above bridge and I plan to layout whatever ball i get drilled the same. Can anyone compare these  2 balls

Of the two, I've only seen the BWP in action.  It's a really good ball, especially if you're bowling on mediums.

I found the BWP to have much more recovery from inside than my Domnation.... it also had more length.  They were laid out pretty much the same too.

Although I've only seen the BWP in action, I was told that the Domination, although it's probably also a really good ball, can be too "flippy" at times, and can sometimes cause you to leave quite a few "designer" splits.

Put a gun to my head, and I would say go with the BWP.
